This are the release notes for H-World 0.2.4 Nothing really exciting in this release. It is just another step forward. A new major feature: traps Trap effects are configured in scripts/traps.lua Traps are configured in level description files (i.e data/level001.sects) The traps need some finetuning, i.e. they can't be disarmed ATM, and they need better signs if discovered. Also the game needs more trap effects. Wearable items can have sizes to 'fit' a body. Included is an example of a dwarf torso plate, which fits dwarfes (and small nagas) but not standard size humans. The look command has been extended to include item descriptions. File based levels configuration has been expandend somewhat. I've started to define a big city, but this isn't complete yet (see data/arkandol.props and data/arkandol.lvl) New items: leather armor, black dress. Black dress looks good on magicians. To bad that there are no mages in the game yet. ** Chronological list of changes since the last release: 10-Nov-03: CHANGE: expanded look command to show item and monster descriptions, too. 09-Nov-03: NEW: some traps implemented - "beartrap" like type -> plain damage - poison dart trap -> poison damage NEW: new skill "perception".
